According to live photographs posted by the leaker Majin Bu (via IT House), Apple is reportedly replacing the 16-year-old "Mute Button" with a brand-new "Custom Button" for the premium iPhone 15 Pro Max. This supports a previous Ming-Chi Kuo leak. One of the greatest design modifications for the premium iPhone model will be this. The Mute switch had previously been placed such that it could be easily flipped. Similar design principles have been adopted for iPhone covers.
But it now seems as though things are about to alter. A "wider and more rounded" cutout can be seen in the shared image in the upper left corner of the mid-frame. The supposed special key will reportedly be housed in this cutout. The Cupertino tech giant could refer to it as the Action Button, after the Action button on the Watch Ultra.
