Nothing Could Compete With Smartwatches

Nothing Phone

London-based startup, Nothing, might be gearing up to enter the smartwatch market. Tipster Mukul Sharma recently spotted an Indian BIS certification with model number Nothing D395 under the “CMF by Nothing” title, which is listed under the smartwatch category. While the existence of a certification listing does not always translate to actual products, this is not the first hint we've received of Nothing's interest in the smartwatch space. Co-founder and CEO of Nothing, Carl Pei, tweeted his desire to test out the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro earlier this year.

It's important to remember that we don't know if this is a completely developed smartwatch or just an in-the-works fitness tracker. Nothing may debut a fitness tracker to "test the waters" before releasing a more advanced smartwatch. Additionally, there is no information available about the name of the rumored Nothing smartwatch.

Nothing has been making waves in the tech industry lately, with the upcoming launch of the Nothing Phone (2). The smartphone will be sustainably crafted and made in India, and will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with a 4,700mAh battery. It will also have a 120Hz AMOLED display and 50MP triple rear cameras with OIS support. The phone will run on Nothing OS 2.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.

Although we are enthusiastic about the potential for a Nothing smartwatch, it's crucial to keep our expectations in check. The Phone (2) is the top priority for Nothing at the moment, and we expect some exciting offerings from the London-based startup.

In conclusion, the potential entry of Nothing into the smartwatch market is an exciting development. However, we need to wait for more concrete information before getting too excited. We are eager to find out what Nothing has in store for us going ahead.
